ENRICH YOUR BUSINESS
WITH ART

Use art to tell who you are

Art creates atmosphere, and art helps to express who you are. Good art brings emotions, creates mood and is inspiring. Whether it’s for big or small businesses, hotels or restaurants, offices or agencies, Nordi supports those who want to give their rooms more character and use the art to tell stories.
We represent everything from press photographers, fashion and landscape photographers to graphic artists.
We put the customer in focus, and always start a new collaboration with a match of expectations, so that the artistic expression goes hand in hand with the company’s visual identity.
We give our customers a unique opportunity to buy artwork while supporting a charitable purpose. This process we make visible. All artworks are labeled with a quality stamp with a QR code (as shown under concept). The code links to the artwork on our website, where you can read more about the artist, the story behind the work and see an in-depth description of the project the purchase of the artwork supports.

ART WITH TAX ADVANTAGES

Tax write-off

The purchase of artworks that are hung or placed at a company’s premises can be deducted in tax. If the purchase price is 13,200 DKK (2017) or less per artwork, the company can deduct the entire amount from the year in which the artwork is purchased. If the amount exceeds 13,200 DKK (2017), the amount can be depreciated according to the so-called balance method by up to 25% per year, i.e. according to the same rules as inventory. Full depreciation can be made in the acquisition year, even if the purchase is made at the end of the financial year.
The advantageous tax rules apply to original visual artworks and also include graphics and photographic artworks. In the case of graphic and photographic artworks, it is a separate requirement that they are numbered and signed by the artist and that they are manufactured in a limited edition. Reproductions are therefore not covered by the rules. Therefore, artworks purchased through Nordi are covered by the favorable tax rules.

CHARITY NORDI SUPPORTS

We believe in a better world

Nordi works wholeheartedly to make a difference. We have carefully selected several charities that Nordi cooperates with. Charitable projects that are close to our hearts and whose values and practices are in line with ours.

DINNødhjælp’s orphanage is a home to children accused of witchery. All of the children at the orphanage go to school as education is seen as being critical for their future development. The safe surroundings of school is also a way for the children to process a history of failure, violence and threats. Besides taking them too school, DINNødhjælp are working with the children every day with activities such as singing, dancing, playing and being creative. DINNødhjælp is a charitable organization founded in 2012 by volunteers, as a result there is no management to reward financially. Therefore, all fundraising and donations are contributed 100% to the projects. DINNødhjælp works compassionately and their main purpose is to support the world’s poorest and witchcraft accused children to a more dignified life.

We are a voluntary association that are fighting for children’s rights. Our primary purpose is saving the so-called witch children in Nigeria, where the belief in witches is a big problem. At the same time as we give the rescued children a good future, we fight against the superstition, so we in the future can prevent more children being tortured, and at worst killed.

In Central Africa there is a great lack of education – particularly for refugees, street children and former child soldiers. Oxfam IBIS works with setting up schools, training teachers and supporting the building of a school system. Education gives traumatized children an anchor in life and the opportunity to prepare for a better future despite great uncertainty.

In order to rebuild a society after conflicts, there is a need for educated citizens, who can read, write and calculate, and understand their role as democratic citizens.

Education is a human right, and education can not wait for peace. Today 125 million children do not get any formal education at all. This education crisis undermines any chance of rapid progress in human development. The power of people against poverty

SeaLegacy creates powerful media to change the narrative around our world’s oceans. Our mission is to inspire the global community to protect our oceans.

Our oceans sustain life on this planet and they are in peril. Many still don’t see or feel the effects of overfishing, pollution, and habitat loss. That’s where SeaLegacy comes in. We use the power of storytelling to create the change we want to see. Awareness is just the beginning. It is time to show the global community what is at stake. We must rally soldiers of support and ignite real and lasting change for our world’s oceans.

This is the story that SeaLegacy tells. This is the story that sparks a global conversation, and the story that inspires people to act. We believe that producing powerful media and art that gives people hope is imperative. Hope is empowerment. Hope is a solution. Hope is a game changer. We are a collective of some of the most experienced and renowned photographers, filmmakers and storytellers working on behalf of our oceans. http://www.sealegacy.org/video

Every year, 200 Danish children are diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is the most frequent medical cause of death of children older than 1 year. Today, four out of five Danish children survive cancer, but half of the survivors suffer from long term injuries from the disease and the severe treatment. The Danish Child Cancer Foundation is the one organization, who funds most Danish research in childhood cancer, and we dot it in order to enhance the treatment and care of children with cancer and thus the survival rates. And the effort pays off: Since the formation of The Danish Child Cancer Foundation in 1995, the overall survival rate of children with cancer has increased with almost 20 pct.

The Danish Child Cancer Foundation is a private, independent organization. We support research in childhood cancer and work to enhance the conditions and care of children with cancer and their families during the course of the disease.

In its first phase, FMA is focused on youths that have been imprisoned in Pademba prison. These minors want to return to normal society; some dream of studying, others want to find work even if their opportunities are scarce in one of the world’s poorest nations. The majority come from broken families that left their home or are orphans.

What we do

  • Offer help directly to incarcerated minors in Pademba prison and in juvenile prison.
  • During court, monitor the trials of minors coming from maximum-security Pademba Prison.
  • Offer legal assistance to incarcerated minors that arrive in court with serious allegations.
  • Pay the bail of youths incarcerated for minor offences. Many times, a bail of less than 50 Euros can avoid years of jail time.
  • Rehabilitation. We personalize the social reinsertion process for minors freed from jail. This can occur through the Saint Michael Center or through occupational therapy in auto mechanic workshops, sewing workshops, etc.
  • Provide a teacher to the juvenile prison. Work on this project has already begun in the Approved School of Freetown.

Sex & Samfund has been working in Kenya since 2011, focusing on family planning, sustainability and LGBT rights and health. Despite economic growth and good trading opportunities, the country suffers from great poverty, inequality, climate change and a problematic relationship with LGBT rights.

Population pressure combined with environmental challenges due to climate change makes it difficult to create sustainable development in Kenya. In a project at Lake Victoria, Sex & Society works with local partners for an integrated effort that includes family planning and sustainable farming practices.

Play31 works in Sierra Leone, one of the world’s poorest countries, which was ravaged by a brutal civil war and has recently been through a devastating ebola epidemic. Like the civil war, the ebola has divided rural communities and degraded the trust that is needed to make every community work and thrive. The lack of trust is also a result of poor governance and corruption. In particular, women and children suffer from lack of basic rights such as protection from violence and access to health facilities and education.

Play 31 uses football to unite and develop societies, divided by war, conflict and disasters.

Anima is a Danish animal welfare association, founded in 2000. We work for animals to be respected, not to be maltreated. This applies regardless of whether it is about pets, farm animals, fur animals, experimental animals or animals in entertainment.

Anima sets in where there is a need and we work targeted to achieve concrete results for the animals. We focus on influencing both politicians, businesses and consumers. Animas most important task is to be a voice for the animals as they can not speak for themselves.

Denmark’s active association for animal rights, for a world without animal abuse.
