Jakob Carlsen, 47 år, fotograf. Han er uddannet fotojournalist fra Journalisthøjskolen og Politiken. Efter endt uddannelse var han ansat 2 ½ år som fotograf på Politiken, hvorefter han sagde op for at starte egen fotografvirksomhed. Han løser fotojournalistiske opgaver, portrætter samt illustrationer for fagblade,magasiner, organisationer og virksomheder. Han har lavet bogprojekter forvirksomheder og organisationer. Drevet af sin lyst til at fortælle historier er han altid igang med et projekt på egen hånd. Han har udgivet flere fotobøger: Outcast– The Repressed People of Asia, om Asiens kasteløse, Familie 365, etdagbogsprojekt der involverede hele familien og senest Langeland – Øen Bag Alle Bjerge.
